Three Gorges Dam Received over 200,000 Visitors in National Day Holiday

In this year, the National Day Holiday and Mid-autumn Festival Holiday meet again. The Three Gorges Dam tourism appeared booming scene. In the 8 days' holiday, the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area totally received 224,500 visitors. It created the new record of daily receipt and total traveler amount.

With the effective stimulation of long holiday, free highway and good weather, the visitors amount to Three Gorges Dam greatly increased which continuously broken through history record. On September 30th, the first day of the golden holiday, the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area received 10,000 visitors which broken through the daily receipt record. On October 1st, Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area received 24,000 visitors; on October 2nd, received 32,500 visitors; on October 3rd, received 47,000 visitors, on October 4th, received 45,000 visitors, on October 5th, received 31,000 visitors; on October 6th, received 25,000 visitors; and on October 7th, received 10,000 travelers. The receipt amount in each day broke through the best record at that day in history.

In past years, the largest traveler amount in the National Day Holiday is mainly on October 3rd and October 4th. In this year, just on October 1st, the traveler amount in Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area reached 24,000. It created the new record of daily receipt. Until October 3rd, when the holiday has past a half, the totally traveler amount to Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area reach 113,500, which is more than the 110,000 travelers receipt amount in last National Day Holiday. In the eight days, the traveler amount is more than one time of last year. Except this, the traveler amount of self-driving traveling is also astonishing. The parking space in the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area is in great demand. Even the newly added 2000 parking spots are also used.
